ITR Filing 2019 Online Registration

Due Date for Filing Income Tax Return Filing

The last date for filing of Income Tax Return (ITR) for the year 2019-20 is July 31. In the recent budget speech, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman proposed to fill ITR through the base. This will benefit those who do not have a PAN card. However, this offer will come into effect from September 1, 2019.

The Finance Minister had said that "more than 120 crore Indians now have base cards. In this case, taxpayers are easy to get. So, I propose that the PAN Card and Aadhar card should be made interchangeable. And those who do not have a PAN card can easily get an opportunity to file ITR through Aadhaar card number only. Wherever those people need a pan, they can use the base in their place. "
